A Lifetime of True Brotherhood

Since 1979, our Brothers have led on campus and in our communities.  With over 600 alumni, we promise a lifetime of true brotherhood. One of our mottos is Vir Quisque Vir - "Every Man, a Man."  It's a motto that we hold dearly. We treat all of our brothers with dignity and respect. In 1972, we abolished the "pledge process" and replaced it with Associate Memberships.  Associate members have all the rights of brothers and can vote on all issues except the Initiation Ritual.  This allows our future brothers to enter the fraternity with respect.

A Message From Our Recruitment Chair (High Delta)

Lambda Chi Alpha only rushes men that share our core values. We hold our brothers to the highest standards. Our chapter gives the opportunity to men of UTSA to be a part of something greater than themselves, and access to support from over 600 alumni members.

Our alumni are leaders throughout business and the community.  As our undergrads we serve our community through philanthropy. Joining our fraternity offers the chance to better yourself, to form lifelong friendships, and to enhance your opportunities in life.

Parent’s Guide

Dear Parents,

The men of Lambda Chi Alpha Phi Upsilon recognize that our parents provide so much for us. We are proud and grateful for all that they do for us.

We want for our parents to be involved with what we are doing. We work diligently to provide your son with a home away from home while being at UTSA. Our parents guide is able to provide you with the general information about our fraternity and what we do.

Your son is about to embark on a journey that will transform him into the man that he aspires to be. He will learn our core values and mottos that we will all hold each other to the highest standards. Here at Lambda Chi Alpha we pride ourselves on holding each brother and associate member accountable in all actions that they perform while treating one another with respect and dignity.

Not only are we a social fraternity that is active in the San Antonio and UTSA community, but we are also a brotherhood that welcomes all new members with open arms. We accept your son for who he is and will strive to transform him into the man that not only we think he can be, but the man that he thinks he can be as well.
